Associate Professor and Vice Dean at the Faculty of Journalism of the Universidad de Castilla La Mancha. I teach in the area of Communication Theory and Information, Techniques and methods of research, Socio-cultural analysis, Semiotics and discourse analysis.
My research specialization areas are feminism and gender studies, analysis of representations, social movements and emotions, and I work with semiotic analysis of discourse as methodological perspective.
Member of the Semiotics, Communication and Culture Research Group (UCM), and researcher of the Project "Public problems and controversies: diversity and participation in the media sphere" (CSO2017-82109-R).
